Basic Jazzy Rice

Ingredients

  • Oil - 2 TB / 25 g
  • Instant Rice - 2 C / 370 g
  • Garlic powder - 1 tsp / 2 g
  • Dried Fruit, any - 1/4 C / 20 g
  • Nuts, any - 1/4 C / 20 g
  • Salt - 1 tsp / 5 g 
  • Water - 16 oz / 500 g
  • Vinegar, any or Lemon - 2 TB/1  /  25 g /1

Steps

  1. Turn on burner
  2. Add oil, nuts, fruit and rice
  3. Stir. Toast all for 2-3 min
  4. Add water, garlic powder, salt
  5. Stir. Simmer. Turn off buner

Notes/Additions

We chose fruits and nuts because we all have some sort of trailmix in our packs. But JAZZZZ this up however you like with other herbs, veggies and meat!
