Ingredients

  • Bacon, precooked - 2.5 oz / 70 g
  • Beer, lager/IPA/amber - 12-16 oz / 450-500 ml 
  • Garlic Powder - 1/2 tsp / 2 g
  • Mustard Powder - 1 tsp / 3 g
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp / 2 g
  • Cornstarch - 1 TB / 10 g
  • Milk Powder - 1/4 C / 17 g
  • Cheddar Cheese - 8 oz / 227 g
  • Pepitas/Nuts - 2 TB / 16 g

Steps

1. Chop bacon
2. TURN ON BURNER: MED HEAT
3. Add bacon. Stir. Cook 1 min
4. Add beer, seasonings. Bring to simmer
5. Mix cornstarch, milk powder w/ a little water
6. Drizzle in mixture into pot. Stir
7. Add cheese. Stir
8. Simmer until thickened
9. Garnish with pepitas/nuts
